Thank you to everyone (runners & helpers) who turned up at Holmebrook Valley Park for our latest event.
Chris Leach of North Derbyshire RC was the 5k race winner in 18:07. Chris had a healthy lead over second place John Sanderson, also NDRC, 19:16 with regular competitor Gavin Newhouse third in 19:58. Evela Victoria, Cannon Events RC, finished first female in 21:28 followed by two more from Cannon Events with last months winner Heidi Josephs second in 24:04 and Emma Rhodes third in 25:02.
There were only 4 in the 1500m this month with overall winner Olivia Rhodes in 8:06 with first boy Dylan Josephs in 11:56.
This months presentation of trophies for the most improved runners in the 5k went to Darren Fisher, Gavin Newhouse & Josh Webster for the men with Mel Hughes, Evela Victoria and Erica Bramhall the most improved females. Olivia Rhodes and Joanna Taylor both took home a trophy for their times in the 1500m.
