2023 Chesterfield Santa Fun Run 5km & 1500m – Sunday 24th December
Santa Fun Run & 1500m Organised under ARC rules – Permit No: applied for
This year’s Santa Fun Run will take place on Sunday 24th December in Queens park Chesterfield 
There will be a children’s 1500m course which is 3 .5 laps around the Cricket Pitch.
The 5k starts with a lap of the Cricket pitch then just over 4 laps on the outer path of the park Both races finish in front of the Cricket Pavilion.
This is a FUN RUN and therefore no finish line timings will be recorded. If competitors wish to record a time then they must do so on their own timing device.
Run start times are:
10:15am for the 1.5k, with a warm up session at 10:00am
10:45am for the 5k, with a warm up session at 10:30am
Santa Suits are included for under 16’s. Adults can choose to buy a Santa Suit (unisex one size fits all) or wear one from a previous year.
Commemorative Medal will be awarded to all finishers.
Entry Fees are as follows:
Adult aged 16+ – £13 with Santa Suit (£9 without)
Children aged 11-15 – £8 with Santa Suit
Children aged up to 10 – £6 with Santa Suit
Santa Suits will be available to collect prior to the event from Ashgate Hospice, Unit 89/90 Storforth Lane Trading Estate, Chesterfield S41 0SN between 10.00am and 1pm on the 21st and 22nd December, between 9am and 1pm on Saturday 23rd December or on the day from 9.00am from queens park cricket pavilion.
Those entrants providing their own Santa Suit please collect race number from the Cricket Pavilion from 9am on race day.
No entries will be taken on the day, the closing date for online entries is 23rd December or before if 700 limit is reached.

Raffle etc plus have your photo taken with our fantastic background scene, donation to Ashgate Hospice welcome.
