Bit of a drizzly morning so thanks to all those who turned out to support our latest Holmebrook event. Our male and female race winners making their first appearance in the 5k were NDRC’s Chris Forster 21:33 and Katie Freestone 22:09. Two more NDRC runners followed Chris to take second and third in the male category with Steve Monaghan 22:47 and Karl Wilde 23:13. Karl also set a Course pb and took home a trophy for most improved male. Second and third females were from Cannon Events Heidi Josephs 22:50 and Kat Prior 25:22 both setting course pb’s and like Karl taking home a trophy for the most improved.
In the 1500m it was a top 3 for Cannon Events and great to see Toby Collard back leading the others home in 7:29. Dylan Josephs was second in 8:31 earning him a most improved trophy with Holly Rogers the first female in 8:32. Eleanor Marrison ran for the first time and at 5 years old ran a fantastic time of 11:13.
Thank to everyone who supported our event today and hope to see many of you return next month which will be one week earlier than usual on Sunday 22 October.
