We had a select few for the latest Holmebrook event but a lovely sunny morning greeted the starters atHolmebrook Valley Country Park.
First home was newcomer Danny Keenan who was delighted by his time of 19.53, a PB I believe. Regular Gavin Newhouse was second in 21:02 with Josh Webster a distant third in 23.17. A good time fro Josh considering he was using todays race as part of a longer 10 mile run.
We only had two female competitors with Danum Harrier Philippa James first home in 30:15 followed by Cannon’s member Amy Parker in 37.22.
Philippa was the only runner to improve on her previous time finishing 51 seconds quicker than her previous best and taking home a most improved trophy.
Second female was Amy Parker, on the comeback trail, finishing well inside her 40 minute target with a 37.22 time.
